GLOBAL ISSUE MANAGEMENT / DIAGNOSTIC ENGINEER (R&D DEPARTMENT – AUTOMOTIVE)

Media-Work Perugia Srl (Aut. Min 39/0006811/MA004,A003 del 15/05/2012) is seeking for a Global Issue Management/Diagnostic Engineer, for electric mobility company based in Perugia.
Main Responsibilities of the role:
The Diagnostic Engineer is responsible for:
•    The analysis of diagnostic problems about vehicles in field.
•    Identify issues and root causes and collect all relevant information for problem identification (e.g. protocols, logs and traces).
•    Collecting of engineering information required for problem resolutions and issue investigation working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, engineering responsible and system specialists.
•    Preparation of reports and metrics about issues status and for the management and tracking of issues until closure, including attending to periodical alignment meeting
In case of particular or urgent problems, the Diagnostic Engineer should provide on-site support (also abroad) to workshop and dealership network with the aim of providing faster and tailored support for problem resolution.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in the Automotive industry or similar
Skills and Competencies:
•    Master’s degree of Electronic/Electric Engineering or Computer Engineering\Science or secondary school diploma in Electric/Electronic/Mechatronic engineering.
•    Capability to provide solutions by means of diagnosis tools development and improvement and creation of ad-hoc documentation (First and Second Level Diagnosis)
•    knowledge of automotive systems both mechanical and electric/electronics systems, including vehicle architectures, vehicle busses and technologies in general.
•    Experienced in analyzing complex system
•    Experience with automotive diagnostic tools (Canalyzer, Canoe, INCA, Kvaser)
•    Experience with multimeter, current probes, oscilloscopes
•    Experienced and trained to work with high voltage systems
•    Experienced in vehicle instrumentation for testing
•    Excellent team working attitude.
•    Strong proactive and self-management skills.
•    Good planning and self-management skills, and ability to achieving of goals in prearranged deadlines while balancing multiple demands and shifting priorities.
•    Good knowledge of English language.
